"Desolate and Morose", a 2-track digital single by the Danish experimental metal act PICTURE ANN, is available for download and streaming on Bandcamp, Spotify, Deezer, and various other online music streaming platforms. The songs are instrumental pieces, designed and constructed as more or less mirror images of each other. Haunting, monotonous, and hypnotic music for those loveless lonely nights of yours. Both songs were composed, recorded, and left un-mixed by J.N. in early January 2016 following a long walk through the woods.

"At times the music can be very progressive and all of the musical instruments have a powerful sound to them and both of the tracks stick to a very slow musical direction without using any vocals or lyrics and also adding in a touch of black and post metal.

Picture Ann creates 2 instrumental tracks that are done in a very slow yet experimental musical direction which is a little bit more different than previous recordings and the production has a very powerful sound to it.

In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Picture Ann and if you are a fan of experimental metal, you should check out this single. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Desolate". 8 out of 10." - Hatred Means War Zine
